Full-color glossy brochures are so ubiquitous at trade shows thus nothing stands out. Knowing this, I decided to design a bright red matte cover with iridescent reflective foil stamps that mimicked the product design. The client was an alternative energy company that made stackable batteries. The cover needed to be unique, sophisticated, stand out and have energy (get it?). Wow, the iridescent foil really popped from the matte red, and sparkled under the trade show’s hot spotlights and became electric! (Here all week, shows each night at 7, please tip your server.)
