Exhibit/Marketing Brochure and Branding Creation

Exhibit and marketing brochure used to solicit exhibition sponsorship. These photos were larger than life size (some covering an entire wall on the New London, CT train station), thus I tried to maintain that feeling of grandeur with an oversized brochure format, as well as using various design techniques to help the image feel larger than life. 

When I saw this image’s classic chiaroscuro lighting, I knew it would be the perfect cover image. The dramatic light guiding you to her face reminds me of a classic Renaissance or Baroque painting. Yet when the viewer looks closely they recognize the sweatshirt and the lip ring. The lighting technique elevated the subject and image overall.
